I have used A Slice of Life a number of times now and I cannot recommend them enough. The fact that I keep going back is a testimonial in itself. Elaine and Leigh have created a truly professional service. Their vast experience shows in everything they do - from their clear website, their online order service, their prompt efficient service and their ability to adapt to give you the service you need. And most importantly following through on everything promised and ordered in the time promised. Everything is of the highest standard.

Their catering service is second to none, offering a wide choice to suit your catering needs. They will work with you and because of their years of experience can offer advice on what will and won’t work. They will deliver what they say they will and will always be on time.

They’re cakes and desserts are beautifully presented and most importantly taste as good as they look.

Their Deluxe Chocolate Christmas Pudding is something special. Every single person, without fail, who I have given it to asks where I got it. What I will say is if you haven’t ever tried it get your orders in now for next Christmas! One request for Elaine and Leigh is to have it available throughout the year as a No Bake Chocolate cake!!

A Slice of Life has won a number of awards including the Regional Caterer Award at the Irish Food Awards confirming the quality of their service. The fact that no where on their website does it state this says a lot about Elaine and Leigh - they are passionate about what they do and are more focused on their business and service rather than boasting about awards - which, paradoxically, is why they are given awards!!’
