A Slice of Life was established in 1993, we have built up a fantastic reputation and a wealth of experience providing top quality food and a professional service to all of our customers. We have been at the centre of many main events including the All Ireland Drama Festival where we catered for all the cast and crew of each Drama Society.

We have also catered in many of the local companies including Heat Merchants, Athlone Extrusions, Woodfit Limited, Alkermes and Utah Medical to name just a few. A Slice of Life is honoured to have been invited into hundreds of homes for Communions, Confirmations and special family days. We know exactly what is required for each occasion and have not only a bank of state of the art equipment, but a driven team ready to make your event go off without a hitch.

On those special days where you want to enjoy yourself & not worry about cooking & cleaning, allow us and our team into your home to cater for your family and friends. As well as the classics we have new healthy menus including the freshest salads & finger foods. We’ll supply all the plates and cutlery & most importantly clean up at the end, leaving you to enjoy yourself!.

We home bake, ice and decorate all of our cakes in delicious flavours from our kitchen in Shelmalier House, Athlone. We require minimum 24 hours notice to make your cake & cater for various dietary requirements.
